This is for you: To the brave dreamers, who work hard to make it happen! 💃💃
Welcome to this week’s Inspired Past Five – A weekly love letter to our community
Every week, we highlight our favorite things: on our blog, and the best around the internet, to help you with whatever you need to focus on this week.
There has been a lot happening in the last couple of weeks, with COVID-19, and its potential impact on society in the next few months. Between practicing and social distancing, many of our lives look different than they did just a few weeks ago.
This week’s picks are all focused on helping you navigate as you settle into a potential new normal for the next little while.
ON Wealth
Money is definitely on everyone’s mind these days! Whether it’s because of businesses closing, our work changing, or financial markets reacting to the virus, money is on top of everyone’s mind.
A lot of the measures rolling out by governments and employers are outside of your control. This guide from The Financial Diet on Protecting Your Financial Life During A Crisis is a great post about things that you can do in your financial life, that you do have control over!
ON Work
Working from home might become the new normal. I wrote this post not too long ago, about how I stay productive when working from home, over the last few months. It is extremely timely at the moment!
ON Well-Being
Most of the work-related talk I’ve seen has to do with staying productive. As an introvert, staying indoors and social distancing hasn’t been much of a challenge YET. But it’s great to see so many people sharing their skills online to keep people challenged, creative or moving!
However, you absolutely do not have to do anything at all if you don’t want to! Sit on your couch and watch Netflix or take a virtual museum tour compiled by Google Arts & Culture!
ON Impact
At the moment, Social Distancing is the one thing to do to help not just your local community, but humanity as a whole. Here is a guide on Social Distancing to help Flatten the Curve!
